
This project consisted of multiple construction projects.
The Facility and Maintenance Building 16,150sf: This project consolidates most of the Pueblo’s maintenance services under one roof. Offices for Motorpool, Water Resources, Maintenance, Department of Natural Resources, and (3) large vehicle repair and maintenance bays equipped with an overhead crane, (2) vehicle lifts and fluid distribution throughout. The equipment yard comprises approximately 4 acres of fences and secured storage for vehicles and materials, exterior wash bay and a fueling facility.
New organization of the intersection at HWY 47 and Tribal Road 97. This project includes new expanded acceleration and deceleration lanes and new road alignment for TR 97.New traffic lights were installed to accommodate the expanded intersection androadways.
TR 97 was engineered, designed, and constructed with new vertical and horizontal alignments to include a fully paved roadway and drainage system from the new intersection to the new Facility and Maintenance Building.
