Alejandro Marquez is a passionate and driven architectural designer with a Master of Architecture from the University of New Mexico. As a first-generation college graduate, Alejandro's dedication to learning and problem-solving is evident in his work, where he continually seeks new ways to contribute to the evolving design world. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Alejandro's ability to navigate diverse environments enhances his collaborative and communicative strengths.
Alejandro specializes in campus remodels and renovations across the U.S. His role includes documenting existing conditions, producing construction documents, and co-designing new structures, such as a Modernized Control Room (MCR) for the Electronic Health Record project. His hands-on experience, from field verification to design implementation, demonstrates his ability to manage complex architectural projects with precision, delivering results that exceed expectations.
Alejandro's expertise also extends to private residential design. He has worked as a drafter and designer for private homeowners, updating plans and elevations for remodels in accordance with county regulations. His early experience as an intern at Tiscareno Associates in Seattle honed his skills in client presentations, massing models, and design revisions, giving him a well-rounded foundation in both the technical and creative aspects of architecture.
With a keen eye for detail and strong project management skills, Alejandro is poised to bring innovative and thoughtful design solutions to any project he undertakes. His proficiency in a variety of design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, is a testament to his technical skills.
