The Ned Hatathli Center is the iconic seven story high-rise focus of the Dine’s College campus at Tsaile, Arizona. The historic nature of the building and of the College itself dictated a careful and sensitive.
The Ned Hatathli Center has seen major shifting and cracking of the building over the years due to unstable soil conditions, which have resulted in both major and cosmetic defects to the building, including the curtain wall system and the first level floor. Our work includes an assessment of the structural system and the soils on which the Center is built, an assessment of the curtain wall construction and the conditions causing the discoloration, cracking and moisture intrusion.
Previous attempted repairs and deferred maintenance over the years have resulted in further issues with leaks, settlement, and other deterioration.
